Drew Heflin
Drew Heflin grew up in Frederick, Maryland and started dancing at the age of six. He was the recipient of a Maryland Distinguished Honors Scholarship in Dance and attended Towson University, earning a BFA in Dance Performance. He spent his college summers performing at Paramount’s Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Hershey Park. Here, he sharpened his skills to continue a professional career. Upon graduation, Drew sailed and performed on Holland America Line cruises in Alaska, Hawaii, Caribbean sea, South America and lastly the Mediterranean and Baltic Sea. Drew then moved to NYC to continue pursuing his dream. He landed a job with the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular and danced 6 seasons alongside the Rockettes. Drew was then cast in the National tour of Twyla Tharp’s Tony Award Winning Musical, Movin’ Out. He played the role of Eddie and worked alongside Twyla to build his character and performance. Drew then joined The Chase Brock Experience, where he originated multiple dance roles and assisted Chase as Associate Choreographer on multiple projects. Drew met his lifetime goal of dancing on Broadway in 2010. He was cast in Broadways, Spider-man Turn off the Dark, where he was also the Assistant Dance Captain.
Other performing credits include: Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Mark Stewart Dance Theater, Broadways Miscast alongside SNL’s Anna Gasteyer, Dance on Broadway video game for Nintendo Wii and more.
Drew now judges and is a guest teacher with Intrigue Dance Convention. Drew and his wife, Karolina, have two amazing kiddos and love the outdoors. Drew enjoys hiking, climbing and races mountain bikes when he is not in the studio creating.
He encourages dancers to approach class and choreography with an open mind and always explore new ways of moving and learning.
Choreography Highlights: Stuck on You, multiple Senior 1st Overalls Regionally and 3rd Overall Nationals. Teen Spirit, Teen 1st Overall regionally, 3rd Overall Nationals. Fox, GROOVE Perfection Award and 3rd Overall Nationals, multiple special awards for choreography and creativity.

Maggie Foster
Maggie Foster is a contemporary choreographer and dance educator located in Boulder, CO. She is originally from Westchester, NY, where she trained and performed with the Westchester Ballet Company. She received additional pre-professional training and performance opportunities with Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Spellbound Ballet, The Ailey School, Boston Ballet, Ellison Ballet, Colorado Ballet, Movement Invention Project, and Karole Armitage Gone! Dance. Maggie completed a BFA in contemporary dance performance at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She performed as a freelance contemporary dancer, taught, and choreographed in Boston for nearly a decade, and furthered her education by becoming a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor in 2017.
Maggie has created dozens of student works throughout her career. Her choreography has placed competitively in the US, including first and third place for contemporary ensemble at YAGP Regional semi-finals in Boston, MA (2024 and 2022) and top ten placements at Groove Nationals in Orlando, FL with Airborne Dance Company (2024). Her personal projects have been showcased by The Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Avante Garde Denver. Maggie has also worked with the Inferno Dance Competition national tour as a dance judge. Currently, you can find her teaching and creating with the Airborne Dance Company, and running a small business as a Licensed Massage Therapist in Boulder. Maggie approaches teaching from the perspective of building healthy, creative, and strong artists.

Karolina Blonski-Heflin
Karolina was born in Poland and raised in Calgary, Canada. Upon graduation Karolina set off to Tokyo Disney where she was featured as a Disney princess and danced in multiple shows over three and half years! After Disney, Karolina decided to move to New York City to pursue her dream of dancing on the Broadway Stage. She auditioned and enrolled at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Since then Karolina has performed all over Europe, US and Canada. Most recently, she was featured in the First National and International Tours Of An American In Paris directed and choreographed by Tony award winning Christopher Wheeldon. She was featured on Broadway, the 1st National and International Tours of West Side Story. She played the role of “Judy” in the National Tour of Twyla Tharp’s Movin’ Out, as well as National Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She has performed 7 seasons alongside the Rockettes in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall, as well as the Radio City Summer Spectacular choreographed and directed by Mia Michaels. She was also featured in Steve Wynn’s Showstoppers choreographed by Marguerite Derricks. She holds a BA from St. Mary’s College Of California. Karolina is also a full time judge with Intrigue Dance Convention and has choreographed multiple award winning pieces
regionally and nationally.
Karolina is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. She is mom to two awesome kids, Lucy and Theo. She is wife to fellow pro dancer, Drew and of course we can’t forget their cute pup, Glenny. She is constantly inspired by new talent in young artists and loves helping guide them through their dance journey. Dream big, dance big, and never stop learning!! 🙂

Alberta Shulman
Alberta Shulman is a dancer, teacher and performer based in Colorado. Originally from Maryland, Alberta fell in love with dance at age seven. She trained, competed and performed as a member of Dance Unlimited’s Repertory Company, along with other institutions, including Maryland Youth Ballet, Point Park University and Towson University. She grew up as a versatile dancer, training in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, pointe, musical theater, improvisation, composition, acting, and vocal work. She began teaching at age fifteen and soon learned she wanted to pursue dance education and performance as her life’s work.
She attended college for two years at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she had the privilege to work and train with a multitude of choreographers, teachers and professional companies, most notably being The Pennsylvania Ballet and Sidra Bell Dance New York. Her first big move brought her to Colorado, where she finished her BFA in dance at The University of Colorado Boulder, exploring somatic techniques and a healthy use of the body through the Alexander Technique. During her time in school she performed in multiple graduate and faculty shows and participated in community outreach programs throughout Colorado.
Upon graduation, Alberta became invested in her role as a dance educator. She has taught and choreographed in multiple studios throughout Colorado. In 2018, Alberta accepted the role as Dance Director of Airborne Dance located in Longmont, Colorado. In this role, she renewed the dance program, including founding the Airborne Dance Company, Airborne’s pre-professional competitive training program. Her choreography has won numerous awards throughout various age groups in her time spent with Airborne. Alberta is truly passionate about creating safe spaces for new generations of dancers and artists to emerge. She is honored to share her knowledge of dance with her students and help them explore, grow and find their own path in the world of dance.
